Tritons Drop Final Big West Match at CSUN

NORTHRIDGE, Calif. – In its final Big West match of the season, UC San Diego fell to CSUN, 7-0, on a warm Tuesday afternoon at Matador Tennis Complex. The Matadors took the doubles point and swept singles action to earn the conference win.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The host Matadors took the doubles point with victories on courts three and one. In singles play, the Tritons battled on courts one and two, but CSUN was ultimately a winner on all six to earn the victory.

"Today was tough," said UC San Diego head coach Sebastian Bader. "We let some opportunities get away in doubles and that put us in a hole. We showed some fight in singles, particularly Grace and Ella. We battled through some injuries and played better than the final score indicated."
