QUOTABLE
"We came out a little slow in first and second doubles – and you can't do that against a team as good as Santa Barbara," said UC San Diego head coach Sebastian Bader. "Katelyn played really well for us on six and Polina was putting up a great fight [at No. 4] before her injury. We will need to regroup before our final road match at Northridge on Sunday."
