LA JOLLA, Calif. – UC San Diego wrapped up its stretch of three matches over five days with a convincing 6-1 victory over visiting Point Loma Wednesday afternoon at Northview Tennis Courts. The Tritons swept doubles action and won five of six singles courts on the way to their second home win of the season.

Cincy Chen completed her 6-2, 6-3 win on No. 6 and Vu put this match in the win column with her 6-3, 7-5 win on court four. Pearson was a 7-5, 7-6 (1) winner on No. 5 and Leung closed out the victory with a hard-earned 7-6 (3), 7-6 (4) win at No. 1.

"This was a nice bounce-back for us," said UC San Diego head coach
Sebastian Bader. "Competing in our third match of the week, we could have shown fatigue, but our energy was up, and we played well for periods on each court. There's a lot to build on here as we head back into Big West play [Saturday].
