LA JOLLA, Calif.—After another 2-0 week, UC San Diego women's volleyball had a pair of Tritons recognized by the Big West with weekly honors.
Paulina Baillie was named Defensive Player of the Week and
Molly McCluskey was named Freshman of the Week. It is the third nod of the season for both Baillie and McCluskey.
It is the sixth and seventh conference weekly honors for the Tritons this season and 17th all-time after joining the Big West in 2021.

Paulina Baillie averaged 5.00 digs over eight sets to help the Tritons to a 2-0 weekend. UC San Diego's libero finished the weekend with 40 total digs and five assists.
In Friday's victory over first-place UC Davis, the freshman tallied 25 digs—two shy of her career high—to lead the Tritons in the back court. On Saturday, she collected 15 digs for her 18th double-figure dig performance of the season in a sweep of UC Riverside.

Molly McCluskey averaged 2.25 kills and 3.88 digs to help the Tritons to a 2-0 weekend. The freshman opposite collected 18 kills and 31 total digs in eight sets, adding one solo block to finish with 19.0 points.
In Friday victory over first-place UC Davis, McCluskey collected nine kills and a career-high 14 digs in five sets. She followed it up with nine kills and another career-best 17 digs in just three sets in a 3-0 sweep of UC Riverside.
