LA JOLLA, Calif. – Five UC San Diego scholar-athletes have been honored by The Big West as the conference announced its women's soccer postseason awards on Saturday afternoon. Graduate students
Skylar Enge and
Kailey Park, seniors
Camryn Borg and
Courtney Hilliard, and redshirt freshman
Leilah Raad were all named Honorable Mention All-Big West. In addition, Raad was selected to The Big West All-Freshman Team.

The postseason recognition is the first for all five Tritons, and the five Triton honorees are the most for UC San Diego in the program's four seasons competing in The Big West. The annual awards are voted on by the conference's 11 head coaches.

UC San Diego concluded its season Thursday night with a 2-0 victory over Cal Poly. The Tritons earned a result in three of their final four Big West matches and posted three clean sheets against Big West opposition.

After two decades as one of the most successful programs in NCAA Division II, the UC San Diego intercollegiate athletics program began a new era in 2020 as a member of The Big West in NCAA Division I. The 23-sport Tritons earned 30 team and nearly 150 individual national championships during its time in Divisions II and III and helped guide 1,400 scholar-athletes to All-America honors. A total of 84 Tritons have earned Academic All-America honors, while 38 have earned prestigious NCAA Post Graduate Scholarships.
