LA JOLLA, Calif. – The UC San Diego men's basketball program is excited to announce that high school standouts Jake Hall and Uriah Tenette have signed financial aid agreements with the intent to join the team as freshmen for the 2025-26 academic year.

His experience at Carlsbad High School playing for great coaching staff and competing in high level games has prepared him to impact our program sooner rather than later. We are excited that Jake and his family are joining our Triton Family next season."

"Uriah has the ability to light up the scoreboard in a hurry. His offensive game is versatile, whether it's through finishing at the rim, creating his own shot, or playmaking for teammates," Olen explained. "A proven winner in his career at Prescott High School, Uriah is an excellent fit for UC San Diego with his commitment to both basketball and academics. I believe he has as much upside as anyone we evaluated in this class. We are thrilled that Uriah and his family have chosen to be a part of our program."
The Tritons (2-1) are in their first season as a fully-eligible Division I program following a four-year reclassification to the sport's highest level of competition.
