HOW IT HAPPENED AGAINST CALIFORNIA BAPTIST
Lucia Doak and Kendall Thomas combined for eight of UC San Diego's 14 goals, each finding the back of the net four times. Annika Arroyo recorded a hat trick, while Allie Bartholomew, Grayson Mix, and Sofia Munatones each had single goals.

UC San Diego outscored California Baptist 8-3 in the first half and 6-5 in the second.

Doak scored the first goal of the game at the 4:51 mark of the opening quarter. Ten seconds later, CBU evened it up on a Kyra Kahahawai goal. Thomas and Munatones answered with back-to-back goals within 24 seconds of one another. The Thomas strike put the Tritons ahead 2-1 and they were able to stay in front the rest of the way.

At 6:10 of the third quarter, Arroyo scored to put the Tritons ahead 10-3. The seven-goal lead was their largest of the game.

However, the Lancers got back into it with a 5-1 run. Following Arroyo's goal, CBU netted three-straight to make it 10-6. Emaly Hutton was responsible for two of them, both coming on a power play. Doak then scored on a power play with 3:10 left in the third quarter, bringing the score to 11-6.

California Baptist scored the game's next two goals. Niya Bumbaca closed out the third quarter with a goal. Hutton opened the fourth frame by completing a hat trick that moved the Lancers back within three at 11-8 with 6:45 left to play. However, that would be the final goal for CBU.

UC San Diego shut it down with three goals over the last 4:39. Thomas kicked off the run and was followed by Bartholomew and Arroyo. The Tritons were able to keep the Lancers off the board for the final 1:47 to seal the victory.

In net, Triton Lexi Stahl made six saves while counterpart Tyanna Schneider had seven.

UC San Diego out-shot California Baptist 34-24. The Lancers out-performed the Tritons on the power play, going four-for-nine (.444) while the Tritons were five-for-16 (.313).

Lucia Doak had the first two goals of the game and was followed by Sofia Munatones, Courtney Okumura, Kendall Thomas, and Abby Moll, giving the Tritons a 6-0 advantage heading into the second quarter. Grayson Mix found the net to open the second quarter and Moll scored her second of the half to close out UC San Diego's 8-0 run.

Fresno Pacific got on the board with consecutive second-quarter goals, the first from Tatum Benson, the second from Regan Azevedo. UC San Diego responded by scoring the next four goals of the game to go up 12-2 with a minute remaining in the quarter. FPU's Alli Hepner was able to score in that final 60 seconds and the teams went into the halftime break with the Tritons in front by a 12-3 count.

UC San Diego kept pouring it on in third quarter, out-scoring Fresno Pacific 5-1. Cascade Stensland was responsible for three of the goals.

Already leading 17-4, the Tritons began the fourth stanza by pocketing three-straight goals by Olivia Seargeant, Kenzie Larson, and Sasha Frey to get their team to the 20-goal mark.

The last two goals of the game went to FPU as Benson scored her second and third to account for the 20-6 final score.

All in all, Stensland equaled her career-high with four goals. Doak, Larson, Moll, Okumura, and Seargeant all scored twice. Lauren Bellavia and Hannah Kawar joined Frey, Mix, Munatones, and Thomas with one goal apiece.
