LA JOLLA, Calif. — The UC San Diego men's volleyball team was swept by sixth-ranked UC Irvine Saturday at LionTree Arena.
Scores of the Big West match went 25-16, 25-17, and 25-14.
The Anteaters also took a straight-set win over the Tritons Friday at the Bren Events Center in Irvine.

HOW IT HAPPENED
For the second-straight night, UC Irvine was stellar on offense, finishing with a .542 (44-5-72) attack percentage. UC San Diego compiled a .229 (31-15-70) attack.
In contrast to Friday's match, the Anteaters held substantial advantages in several categories including points (61-32), kills (44-31), aces (8-0), and blocks (9-1).
UC San Diego was led by
Ryan Ka, who finished with nine kills.
Berkeley Miesfeld followed with six, while
Nick Rigo had five and
Peter Selcho had four. Selcho made no errors in six swings, good for a .667 attack percentage. Setter
Gabriel Dyer had 29 assists and a match-high six digs.
For UC Irvine, Francesco Sani had 11 kills on .474 hitting and Hilir Henno had 10 kills on .563 hitting. Henno also added three service aces. Maxim Grigoriev and Cole Gillis each produced four blocks at the net. The duo was also effective on the attack with Grigoriev hittins .727 and Gillis coming in at .462.
