LA JOLLA, Calif.— UC San Diego track and field has released its 2024 schedule, announced Thursday afternoon by
Kim Graham-Miller. The teams will open the season on Feb. 2 and 3 at the Riverfront Invitational hosted by Washington State.

"I am looking forward to a competitive 2024 season," said Graham-Miller. "We have two young squads, but we are ready to get out there and perform."

After the Riverfront Invitational, the Tritons will head south to New Mexico to the indoor Don Kirby Elite Invitational hosted by the Lobos Feb. 9 and 10.

Opening the outdoor season on March 1 and 2, UC San Diego will compete at the Beach Opener hosted by Big West opponent Long Beach State. Continuing conference competition, Cal State Fullerton will host the Ben Brown Invitational the following weekend on March 8 and 9.
Heading across town at the end of March, the Tritons will compete at San Diego State on March 22 and 23 before heading north to Stanford on March 29 and 30 for the Stanford Invitational.

Starting April off at home, the gold and blue will host the Triton Invitational on April 5 and 6 on the La Jolla campus. Returning to the Bryan Clay Classic, the Tritons will compete at Azusa Pacific April 11-13. The teams will wrap April at the Mt. SAC Relays in Torrance, Calif. April 17-20.
The final conference meet will take place at Cal State Fullerton on May 3 and 4. The season will wrap at the APU Last Chance meet on May 10 and 11 in Azusa.

The Tritons are entering the fourth and final year of the NCAA mandated transition to Division I, and will be ineligible for any NCAA postseason competition until 2025.
