Lindsey Park were all named to the Academic All-District Team as announced by College Sports Communicators (CSC) on Tuesday. All five will now move on to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot.
Camryn Borg (Los Gatos, Calif.) is a business economics major with a 3.57 grade point average. On the pitch, Borg started all 17 matches in which she played, scoring the game-winning goal vs. CSUN on Oct. 19.
Courtney Hilliard (Carlsbad, Calif.) maintains a 3.53 grade point average as an international studies -- international business major. Hilliard started all 18 matches for UC San Diego and ranked second on the team with three goals and four assists in 2023.
Talisa Lin (Golden, Colo.) maintains a 3.82 grade point average as an anthropology major. The defender started all 18 matches, playing all but eight minutes of the entire season. Lin scored her first two career goals in 2023.
Allie Luo (San Diego, Calif.) is a human biology major and holds a 3.60 cumulative GPA. Luo has started every match of her Triton career and the defender has notched six career assists to date.
Lindsey Park (Torrance, Calif.) is a business economics major who maintains a 3.53 cumulative GPA. Park scored a pair of goals in UC San Diego's triumph over CSUN on Oct. 19.
The 2023 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA — for each gender.
To be eligible, student-athletes must hold a 3.50 cumulative grade point average and must have played in 90% of the team's matches. Freshmen are not eligible for consideration.
The Tritons completed their second Division I season with a 2-4-4 mark in Big West play. UC San Diego earned a win or draw in seven of its nine road matches in 2022.
