Graham-Miller Announces 2023 Track & Field Schedule

Tritons to participate in 10 meets throughout the 2023 season

LA JOLLA, Calif. – UC San Diego first year head coach, Kim Graham-Miller, has announced the Tritons' 2023 spring Track and Field schedule. The schedule consists of 10 different meets with nine taking place in Southern California.

Former Olympic Gold Medalist, Kim Graham-Miller is excited to get started with her first season leading the Tritons. "We are going to the first ever indoor meet for this program. I think it is important to bring something new that will help us start to prepare a little earlier for our outdoor meets," Graham-Miller shared. "The scholar athletes who run indoors will be able to start a new tradition of being the first ones to run indoors and possibly be indoor school record holders. That is an awesome thing."

To kick off the start of the season on Feb. 2, the Tritons travel up to Spokane, Wash. For the WSU Invitational extending to Feb. 5.

Opening competition in the busy month of March is the Beach Opener in Long Beach, Calif. taking place Mar. 3-4. From there the team travels inland to Fullerton, Calif. for the Ben Brown Invitational (Mar. 10-11). Traveling back to San Diego, the Tritons take on the Aztec Invitational (Mar. 23-25) on their hometown competitor's territory and close out the month in Irvine, Calif. is the Vince O'Boyle Track and Field Classic (Mar. 31- Apr. 1).

Back on home turf, UC San Diego hosts the Triton Invitational at Triton Track and Field Stadium from Apr. 7-8. The team then participates in the Bryan Clay Invitational (Apr. 13-15) and the Steve Scott Invitational (Apr. 28-29) following.

Wrapping up the season in Southern California is the Oxy Invitational (May 6) in Los Angeles and APU Franson Last Chance (May 12-13) in Azusa the following weekend.
