QUOTABLE
"As I take a look back at the season as a whole I believe we made a lot of progress, especially in terms of roster depth," said UC San Diego head coach
Colin Truex. "We saw great performances from our Varsity 8 throughout the season, but what was really special was the performance of the 2V8 and at times the V4.Â
Â
"It takes a full roster of competitive athletes in order to be in the mix at the CAA Championships and while we came up well short of our goals this past weekend, I believe we have established a great foundation for our young team. They will take their experiences from this weekend and use them as motivation to step up into next year and I am excited for that.
Â
"I would also like to take a moment to recognize our seniors- Juni, Hailey, Kara, Gen, Kaelin, Sydney, Bella, and Emme who have all made tremendous contributions to the program over the years and leave a legacy of determination, resilience, and success. They will be missed!"
