ELKHART, Ind. – On the second day of the CSCAA National Invitational Championships, 15 Tritons qualified for the finals and recorded four new team records. The Triton women are going into the final day in 8th place and the men are in 4th place.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The women had three top 15 finishes in the finals; each swim broke a team record. In the 200 yard medley relay,
Jordan Phillips,
Katja Pavicevic,
Miranda Renner, and
Tina Reuter finished on the podium with a 1:39.04 swim. Pavicevic swam 1:01.49 in the 100 yard breaststroke to finish 12th and
Teagan Monroe finished 11th in the 100 yard back stroke, posting a time of 53.50.

The Triton men swam a time of 6:29.53 to make it on the podium in third place in the 800 yard freestyle relay. The team was made up of
Andrija Petkovic,
Hayden Johnson,
Ryan Kirton, and
Ivan Kurakin. During prelims, Kurakin recorded a team record in the 200 yard freestyle, positng a time of 1:35.25.
