LA JOLLA, Calif. — Upping its win streak to four matches, the 11th-ranked UC San Diego men's volleyball team swept Concordia in a non-conference match Saturday evening at RIMAC Arena.
Scores were 25-23, 25-20, and 25-20.
UC San Diego is now 7-5 overall while Concordia dropped to 5-2.

HOW IT HAPPENED
UC San Diego hit a stellar .427 on the night with 49 kills and only 14 errors in 82 attack attempts, by far the team's best offensive outing of the season.
Freshman outside hitter
Matthew Lim, who was playing in just his fourth collegiate match, established a new career-best by leading all players with 15 kills. He hit .524 (15-4-21) and tacked eight digs onto his box score line.
Senior outside
Kyle McCauley had 12 kills and hit .429 (12-3-21) and senior middle blocker finished with 10 kills and a .571 (10-2-14) hitting percentage.
Freshman opposite/outside
Ben Blakely had a career-best seven kills, eclipsing his previous high of six, set Friday night in a sweep of UC Santa Cruz.
Orchestrating the potent offense was senior setter
Blake Crisp, who amassed 43 assists as well as 10 digs and a service ace. He floored a kill in his lone attack attempt also.
Senior libero
Matt Palma had a match-high 11 digs.
The Tritons held leads over the Eagles in points (58-40.5), kills (49-28), aces (5-4), assists (48-27), and digs (36-17). Concordia had an 8-4 advantage in blocks.
Uriel Batista put down eight kills to lead the Eagles, who hit .225 (28-10-80) as a team.
