LOS ANGELES – The Tritons closed out day one of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation conference championships. The championships are being hosted in Los Angeles at the East Los Angeles College for the ninth year in a row.

HOW IT HAPPENED
 The Tritons posted three team records on the first night of the MPSF championships. On the women's side, the 200 yard medley relay team of
Jordan Phillips,
Katja Pavicevic,
Miranda Renner, and
Brittney Miles took second and posted a time of 1:39.37. Senior
Jordan Phillips posted a 24.67 time in the 50 yard back. On the men's side, the 800 yard free relay team of
Hayden Johnson,
Ryan Kirton,
Ivan Kurakin, and
Zack Reuter took third and posted a time of 6:29.37. Â

In the 200 yard medley relay,
Tyler James,
Luke Pusateri,
Spencer Daily, and
Nate Cunnan took third with a time of 1:27.30.
