LA JOLLA, Calif. – The UC San Diego men's basketball program has announced high school standout Jasen Brooks has signed a National Letter of Intent to join the team as a freshman for the 2023-24 academic year.
"I am excited to welcome Jasen to our Triton Family! He is not only a talented basketball player but also the type of person who will be a terrific representative of our program, athletic department and university. Our program got better today with the addition of Jasen and his family," said tenth year UC San Diego head coach
Eric Olen. "On the court, Jasen is a physical combo guard who can score the ball in a variety of ways. His combination of strength and athleticism allow him to make an impact on the defensive end of the floor as well. Playing in a championship high school program with Hall of Fame Coach Reggie Tucker has prepared Jasen to make a positive impact early in his career. We are excited to watch his growth this season and look forward to his arrival in San Diego next fall."
