UC San Diego Falls at LMU in Season Opener

LOS ANGELES – The UC San Diego women's tennis team fell to Loyola Marymount by a 4-0 score on Saturday afternoon in the season opener for both teams.

HOW IT HAPPENED
LMU took the doubles point by winning all three positions.
 
In singles play, the Lions earned wins at No. 1, 4 and 5 to clinch the match. UC San Diego freshman Anna Snissarenko won the first set 6-3 and led 4-3 in the second set at No. 6 when play was halted as the Lions clinched the match. Down 1 set to 0, senior captain Anu Bhadada had a 5-4 lead in the second set at No. 2 when the match concluded.
