BERKELEY, Calif. – The UC San Diego women's swim team traveled all the way to Berkley to conclude their final meet of the year against No. 5 Cal. This un-scored match consisted of a total of 13 events that included the 300 back relay, 300 breast relay, 300 butterfly relay, 600 yard free, and more.

While the Tritons struggled to come out on top of the individual races, they were awarded a first place position in the 300-yard breast relay. A group consisting of
Lexi DePaco,
Gabi Icheva, and
Juli Arzave beat the Bears to the wall with a final time of 2:50.47 leading the 300-yard breast relay.

UC San Diego posted some impressive times in the individual races including strong performances from
Mackenzie Lee finishing the 50-yard free with a time of 24.25, as well as
Miranda Renner timing in second in event nine.

Teagan Monroe hit the wall with a time of 1:30.18 barely falling short and earning herself the third position in the 150-yard back.
Katja Pavicevic concluded the 150-yard breast less than one second behind first.

UP NEXT
The Tritons will return to the pool on Jan. 2 for a dual meet vs. CSU Bakersfield at Canyonview Aquatic Center. That afternoon, the women will also host LMU.
