LA JOLLA, Calif. - Three Tritons finished with a double-digit kill total but it wasn't enough as the UC San Diego women's volleyball team fell in four sets to Big West Conference co-leader Hawaii Friday night at RIMAC Arena.
Scores were 22-25, 25-17, 27-25, and 25-21.
UC San Diego is now 6-11 on the season with a 3-3 mark in the Big West.
Hawaii moved to 8-5 overall and remained unbeaten in the conference at 5-0. UC Santa Barbara holds an identical Big West record.

HOW IT HAPPENED
For the Tritons,
Sabire Karacaova had 17 kills,
Ava McInnes finished her night with 15, and
Trinity Castaneda had 11.
Naya Dong andÂ
Isabela Dobra each amassed 17 digs, while
Susanna Limb had 17. Dobra ended her night with 45 assists.
Juliette Bokor totaled six blocks (one solo) and
Emily McDaniel had four (two solos).Â
The Rainbow Wahine got a match-high 20 kills from Riley Wagoner and Brooke Van Sickle was just behind with 19.
For the match, UC San Diego hit .234 (57-18-167) and Hawaii swung at .257 (65-21-171).Â
The Tritons had more blocks than their opponent, holding a 10-8 edge tonight.
