Friday's Game vs. UC Irvine Postponed

LA JOLLA, Calif. – After consulting with medical officials, Friday's men's basketball game between UC San Diego and UC Irvine has been postponed out of an abundance of caution after a Triton scholar-athlete exhibited COVID-like symptoms. This afternoon's game was slated to be UC San Diego's first game against a Division I opponent since transitioning to NCAA Division I status over the summer.

The status of Saturday's game will be determined pending follow-up testing and an announcement will be made as soon as possible on the team's Twitter account.
