SENIOR NIGHT
The Tritons will honor seniors
Stephanie Moore and
Sydney Sharp on Saturday for Senior Night. Moore and Sharp will be recognized on the court prior to the game.
THINK PINK NIGHT
In partnership with Susan G. Komen, the Tritons will host Think Pink night on Saturday to raise awareness about breast cancer. Fans are encouraged to wear pink to the game, and the first 100 fans in attendance will receive a pink lanyard.
When purchasing tickets, fans who show proof of their donation to Susan G. Komen will receive a discount.
CCAA TOURNAMENT RETURNS TO LA JOLLA
The Tritons will play host to the CCAA men's and women's basketball tournament next month at RIMAC Arena. The semifinals will take place on March 6 with the champions crowned March 7. This year, the men's tournament will be played in the afternoon and the women's sessions will be held at night.
In addition, the top four seeds will host a quarterfinal game on campus Tuesday, March 3. The UC San Diego women have clinched a spot in the tournament, but seedings are to be determined. All CCAA tournament games played at UC San Diego will be broadcast live on ESPN3.

A former WNBA coach, Olympic team scout and assistant for the legendary Pat Summitt at the University of Tennessee,
Heidi VanDerveer enters her eighth season as the UC San Diego head coach in 2019-20. VanDerveer was named the CCAA Coach of the Year for the fourth-consecutive season in 2018-19 as well as the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) West Region Coach of the Year for the second-straight year.

BIG WEST BOUND
UC San Diego is in its 20th and final year playing as an NCAA Division II team. In July of 2020, the entire athletics program will begin a four-year transition to NCAA Division I, culminating in full DI status as a member of the
Big West Conference for the 2024-25 academic year. At that time, all sports will be eligible for conference and NCAA postseason play.
