Big West Opening Series at Cal Poly Canceled

Tritons' first Conference game now slated for Jan. 8 vs CSUN

LA JOLLA, Calif. – Due to a positive COVID test involving the Cal Poly men's basketball program, UC San Diego's games next weekend vs. the Mustangs in San Luis Obispo have been canceled. The Jan. 1 tilt was slated to be the Tritons first-ever game as a member of the Big West Conference. Per Conference policy, these games will not be rescheduled.

UC San Diego (2-0) is now scheduled to begin Big West play on Jan. 8 against CSUN inside RIMAC Arena. All UC San Diego home games will be broadcast live on ESPN3.
