GIRLS AND WOMEN IN SPORTS DAY
On Saturday, come support the Tritons as they celebrate Girls and Women in Sports Day! Prior to the game, join UC San Diego Athletics and UC San Diego Recreation for the Girls and Women in Sports Festival at RIMAC Arena from 4-5:30 p.m. There will be autograph sessions with scholar-athletes, inspiring talks from Olympians, and more. Free bookmarks commemorating Girls and Women in Sports Day will be given to all game attendees (while supplies last).
HONORARY COACH
Dean of Student Affairs for Thurgood Marshall College Amber Vlasnik will be serving as the Tritons' honorary coach on Saturday afternoon. Vlasnik and her daughter will be seated courtside as the Tritons battle Stanislaus State.
TURNER TIMES TWO
Thursday will be the second time this season that
Tyla Turner faces off with her sister, Tyra, who is a senior guard at Humboldt State. In their previous meeting on Jan. 11, Tyla put up 19 points in UC San Diego's 88-82 win at Humboldt.

HEAD COACH HEIDI VANDERVEER
A former WNBA coach, Olympic team scout and assistant for the legendary Pat Summitt at the University of Tennessee,
Heidi VanDerveer enters her eighth season as the UC San Diego head coach in 2019-20. VanDerveer was named the CCAA Coach of the Year for the fourth-consecutive season in 2018-19 as well as the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) West Region Coach of the Year for the second-straight year.
WHAT'S NEXT
After their two games at home, the Tritons will hit the road for a single game. UC San Diego will take on Chico State at 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 6 before returning home for its final homestand of the regular season.

BIG WEST BOUND
UC San Diego is in its 20th and final year playing as an NCAA Division II team. In July of 2020, the entire athletics program will begin a four-year transition to NCAA Division I, culminating in full DI status as a member of the
Big West Conference for the 2024-25 academic year. At that time, all sports will be eligible for conference and NCAA postseason play.
