TEMPE, Ariz. - Junior Chrissi Carr of the UC San Diego women's track and field team tied for 10th place in the women's open pole vault competition, Friday at the two-day Sun Angel Classic at Sun Angel Stadium. The meet is hosted by Arizona State.
Carr cleared the opening height of 11'9.75" on her first attempt. She failed to successfully clear the next height, 12'3.75", in three tries, tying her for 10th place.
Paul Doan, Jared Senese, Devon Brook, Kristen Daugherty, Savanna Forry, Raymond Silver, Kristin Sato, Matt Bowen, Haley Libuit, Ellexi Snover, Anthony Capitulo, Dan Golubovic, Travis Vandegriff, the men's 4x100 relay, the men's 4x400 relay and the women's 4x400 relay will compete on the second day of the Sun Angel Classic on Saturday, April 9. The rest of the Triton men and women will be at the Pomona-Pitzer Invitational.
