Trio of Triton Women Takes on Elite Field in Day Two of Triton Invitational

LA JOLLA, Calif. - With most of the team waiting until Saturday to compete, three women of the UC San Diego track and field team competed in two of the three throwing events during the second day of the Triton Invitational on Friday at Triton Track & Field Stadium.

Not far behind Agbahiwe with a throw of 133'0” was junior Eva Isaacs, who also did well with her 13th-place showing.

In the women's hammer throw invitational event, freshman Valerie Francis held her own among the high-caliber slate of throwers. Francis finished 29th overall with a mark of 141'8”.
