Katie Condon led the way with 17 kills and
Sylvia Schmidt added 16 kills in three sets.
Elaine Chen had 57 assists, 12 digs, four kills and three aces. The Lancers were held to a .152 hitting clip.
Condon finished the night hitting at a .333 clip and Schmidt had a match-high .520 hitting percentage. Hillary Williamson added 12 kills on .500 hitting while Lauren Bradley had an errorless match with six kills in 13 attempts. Roxanne Brunsting had a match-high 17 digs and Janessa Werhane added 16 digs and two aces.
The Tritons dominated the first two sets, higgint at a .345 clip in set one and a .429 clip in the second set. UCSD held the Lancers to just a .115 average in set one and a negative percentage in the second.
Cal Baptist was led by Fei Shi with 11 kills while Noelle Dyk added nine kills. Krista Hasemeyer had 29 assists and Bree Rauschenbach had a match-high seven blocks. CBU outblocked the Tritons 14.0 - 9.0.
UCSD begins the regular season on Friday when it plays the first of four matches at the Wildcat Open at Marquette Michigan, hosted by Northern Michigan. The Tritons square off with Winona State at 1:00 p.m., followed by a match later that night against Saint Cloud State at 7:00 p.m.
