SAN BERNARDINO, Calif.  ?The UC San Diego women's tennis team won its 49th consecutive regular season conference match with an 8-1 victory over Cal State San Bernardino on Wednesday afternoon.  UCSD is now 1-1, 1-0 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association, while the Coyotes drop to 0-2, 0-1 CCAA.  UCSD won 2-of-3 doubles matches and took all six singles matches.  For the Tritons, Anita Athavale and Valerie Tang defeated their opponents, 6-0, 6-0, respectively, at the No. 1 and No. 2 singles positions.

In doubles action, Athavale teamed with Taskeen Bains to win at No. 1 doubles, 8-2.  Tessa Tran and Tang won at No. 2 doubles while CSUSB's Janay Palicte and Allison Brooks defeated Katie Mulloy and Roxy Pourmirzaie at No. 3 doubles.

After the Tritons swept at the No.1 and No. 2 singles spots, Tran, Bains, Roxy Pourmirzaie and Mulloy won their singles matches.

UCSD continues its six match road trip on Tuesday, February 17 when it travels to Fullerton to take on Cal State Fullerton at 2:00 p.m.
