The 5th-ranked UC San Diego men's water polo team improved to 14-2 by defeating Santa Clara 12-5 and Cal Lutheran 17-1.  Against the Broncos, UCSD had a huge fourth period with five goals and cruised to the seven goal win.  Against Cal Lutheran, UCSD was in control from the start with a 7-1 halftime lead and adding six more third period scores.  UCSD continues in the UC Santa Cruz Slugfest on Sunday with two more match-ups.  The Tritons take on 8th-ranked Long Beach State at 2:30 pm and 20th-ranked tournament host UCSC at 5:45 pm.
