Â
A two-time U.S. national champion and a two-year team captain at USC as a member of the swimming team, Falcon was named the head coach of the Triton women’s swimming team on Aug. 25, 2011 and served in that role through the 2016-17 season. She stepped away from coaching following that season to focus on the leadership development of athletes and coaches across the athletic department.
Â

Â
During the 2011-12 season, the Triton women posted a third-place NCAA finish for the fourth year in succession and 10th time in 12 appearances at the Division II event. The UC San Diego men also took a fourth PCSC crown in as many seasons before turning in a second straight national runner-up effort.
Â
In her final turn as assistant coach in 2010-11, Falcon helped the Tritons put together one of their finest seasons. UC San Diego won its third consecutive PCSC title on both the men and women's sides and went on to post a tremendous showing at the NCAA Championships. The men were second, the team's highest finish to date at the Division II level, while the women took third.
