Samuel Schaff joined the UC San Diego athletic training staff in January 2026.
Prior to UC San Diego, Schaff was an athletic trainer with the USA Volleyball National Team Development Program as well as the head athletic trainer at San Diego Mojo Volleyball.
His experience also includes time as a recovery specialist with Urban Golf Performance.
He previously worked as an assistant athletic trainer at San Diego State and the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs.
Schaff earned him Master of Athletic Training from Texas Tech in May 2021, and received his Bachelor of Health and Science, Sports Medicine from Colorado State in December 2018.
