Ricardo Ayala joined the UC San Diego Athletics Department as a broadcast production assistant in December 2023.

A 2023 graduate of UC San Diego, Ayala earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business psychology. He worked as a broadcast production assistant for UC San Diego athletics as an undergraduate student, assisting in all aspects of producing live sporting events for ESPN+.
