Kaylee Deutsch joined the UC San Diego Athletics Department in 2022 as a marketing assistant was promoted to Assistant Director of Marketing in 2023, and Director of Marketing & Fan Engagement in 2026.

Deutsch began her career in sports marketing as an undergraduate student, gaining experience as an intern with the University of Northern Colorado marketing and fan engagement staff. Upon graduation, she served as Picnic Supervisor for the Kane County Cougars Minor League Baseball organization in Geneva, Ill., before accepting a marketing position in athletics at UC San Diego.

Deutsch earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Northern Colorado in May 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Recreation, Tourism and Hospitality. She received her Sports MBA from San Diego State in 2023.
