Jade Dawson (MS, CSCS) joined the UC San Diego Athletic Department in July 2025 and currently serves as an athletic performance intern. She works directly with fencing and assists with women’s soccer.
Dawson received a B.S. in exercise science and a B.A. in Biology with a chemistry minor from The University of New Mexico. She continued at UNM to earn her M.S. in Exercise Science, where her thesis explored match-day loads and recovery in Division I female soccer players during a congested period.
Prior to UC San Diego, she served as a strength & conditioning coach for youth, collegiate, and elite athletes, as well as an exercise physiology lab technician.
