Charity Anderson was named Assistant Athletics Director for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in March of 2024.
Prior to her role working with Scholar-Athlete Success, Anderson was athletic department’s office coordinator and executive assistant to the Athletic Director for five years. Her duties included assisting in reconciliation of department expenses, coordinating DEI training, assisting in the creation of student affinity groups, overseeing the day-to-day logistics of the department and cross collaboration with campus partners on numerous projects.
Before joining UC San Diego, Anderson worked at Concorde Career College in Student Affairs.
She received her Bachelor of Arts in Sport Psychology in 2020.
