AT UC SAN DIEGO: Member of Stroke-Novice 8, helping team to a Bronze at the 2005 WIRA Novice Four and an undefeated dual racing season as a sophomore... member of the 2006 WIRA Championship silver medal team, 2006 Pacific Coast Rowing Championship gold medal team... won silver in the 2006 PCRC Pairs... holds 6^th place on the all-time school records in the 6000m and 12^th place in the 2000m Ergometer.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Mountain View High School in Mountain View, Calif... named MVP on defense for the SCVAI Athletic League during junior and senior years... team captain for soccer and track... four year varsity member of soccer and track.

PERSONAL: Parents are Dennis and Jan Switick... has a younger brother named Tim... a Human Biology and Music major... aspires to attend Medical School... enjoys soccer, snowboarding, photography, music, and the beach.
