AS A JUNIOR IN 2007: Played in all of UCSD’s matches and received seven starts... took 11 shots on the season, two of which were on goal... registered two assists on the season with the second coming on a Jason Le game-tying goal in the 88th minute on Oct. 19 at home against Chico State, a contest the Tritons eventually won in overtime by a score of 2-1.
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2006: Appeared in 13 of the team’s 19 contests... took six shots on the season, three of which were on goal... team outscored its opponents by a 6-4 margin in matches where Shah took a shot.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2005: Appeared in nine matches for the Tritons during rookie campaign... team was 7-1-1 in matches he appeared in, outscoring opponents by a 16-4 margin... took two shots on the season, the first of which came in the 2-0 victory over Cal State Monterey Bay at home on Oct. 9... second shot of the season came in the 1-0 victory at Chico State on Oct. 14.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2002 graduate of Foothill High School... was his team’s MVP and helped them to a 17-2-5 record and a spot in the CIF Quarterfinals... scored 14 goals as a senior.
PERSONAL: Born June 15, 1984... father is Sultan Shah, mother is Ann Shah... father is a physician while mother is a nurse practioner... is an Environmental Chemistry major and Spanish Literature minor in John Muir College... enjoys most sports and music.
