UC San Diego became the first school in history to have both its men's and women's basketball teams qualify for the NCAA Tournament in their first season of eligibility.

The 2024-25 season marked a return to La Jolla for Seto, who was a member of the Triton women’s basketball program from 2011 to 2015. As a senior, Seto was named All-CCAA Honorable Mention and earned first-team accolades as a junior. She was also a three-time CCAA All-Academic honoree for the Tritons.

A native of Redwood City, Calif., Seto prepped at Pinewood School in Los Altos, where she was a four-year starter on the basketball team. She earned her bachelor’s degree in human development from UC San Diego in 2015 and her master’s degree in speech-language pathology from San Jose State in 2020.
