HIGH SCHOOL: A 2009 graduate of Valley Christian High School in San Jose, Calif.… Led the Warriors to consecutive Central Coast Section Championships as a sophomore and junior… Averaged 10 points, eight rebounds, and two steals as a junior… Named the team’s Most Improved Player in 2007-08… Competed with the High Intensity club team… Also played water polo for VCHS.

PERSONAL: Born December 10, 1990… Parents are Paul and Mary Griffith… Has two older brothers named Randy and Reese and an older sister named Mary… Is a fan of the San Jose Sharks, San Francisco Giants, and Golden State Warriors… Tim Lincecum is her favorite athlete… The Game and The Time Traveler’s Wife are two of her favorite flicks… Lists winning Valley Christian High School’s first Central Coast Section Championship in 2006 as her top sporting memory… Enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, snowboarding, wakeboarding, tubing, horseback riding, and sleeping in her spare time… Is an undeclared major in Muir College but is leaning towards a career in the medical field.
