AS A JUNIOR IN 2007: Finished 6th in the 110 hurdles at the All-Cal Championships with a time of 16.65, while posting 8th place finish in the high jump... finished 3rd in the 110 hurdles with season-best time of 15.85 during the San Diego City Championships... recorded season-best high jump at the same event with mark of 6’4.75” good for a third-place finish and ranking third among Tritons on the year... repeated season-best high jump mark during UCLA Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner-Kersey Invitational, finishing 4th in the event... finished 7th in the high jump at the CCAA Championships with a height of 6’1.25”.
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2006: Finished 9th in the high jump at the CCAA Championships with a height of 5’11.25”... recorded the third-best mark for the Tritons on the season in the 110m hurdles with a career-best time of 15.97.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2005: Recorded his season-best in the high jump at the San Diego Aztec Invitational with a height of 6’4”... recorded the fifth-best mark in the 110m hurdles with a time of 16.30 at the UCSD Collegiate Open.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2004 graduate of Miramonte High School in Orinda, Calif... achieved statistical bests of 15.3 in the 110m hurdles and 5’8” in the high jump while at high school... helped team to 2004 DFAL Championship... also played football and helped team to 2002 DFAL Championship and 2003 DFAL, NCS, and Division 3 State Championships.
PERSONAL: Born August 24, 1986... parents are Teouman Ghanizadeh and Aimee Johnson... Teouman was a Golden Glove winner and Iranian National Boxing Champion... is a Cognitive Science major with an emphasis in Neuroscience at Sixth College... plays the piano and the guitar.
