Biography
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2007: Finished with a career-best and UCSD top-ten mark in the 200, crossing the finish line in a time of 25.98 for an 11th place finish at the San Diego City Championships... also finished 4th in the 400 at the San Diego City Championships with a time of 58.64... after recording a preliminary time of 57.75 in the 400 during the CCAA Championships, put together best-ever performance in the event during finals, crossing finish line in 57.68 and ranking 4th in the event and 7th all-time for the Tritons.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2006: Tied for 9th in the 400m dash during the Rafer Johnson/UCLA Invitational with a time of 59.33... competed as part of the 4x400 relay team at the Triton Invitational with former Triton Sheila Nguyen and current Tritons Kelli Prakash and Corey Sheredy, helping the foursome to a third-place finish in their section... career-best time of 59.24 in the 400m dash ranked 4th on the Triton top marks list for the season.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2005 graduate of University High School in Irvine, Calif... statistical bests of 57.8 in the 400m and 25.7 in the 200m... went to CIF during all four years of high school... helped team to league title in 2002... was member of 4x100 relay team that broke 24-year-old school record... played AYSO Soccer from 1996-1999 and was a member of the 1999 AYSO All-Star Championship team.
PERSONAL: Born June 19, 1987... father is David Palmer... is an Engineering Sciences major in Thurgood Marshall College... interests include traveling, foreign languages, and sports... aspires to become an International Doctor of Medicine.
