AS A JUNIO IN 2011: Competed in the Rossi Relays where he finished in 13th place in the hammer throw with a mark of 42.85m.
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2010: Took fourth place in the hammer throw with a mark of 121'10" during the San Diego Collegiate Championships... Finished just outside the top 10 in the hammer throw at the CCAA Championships.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2009: Mark of 124’9” good for 15th
in hammer throw during All-Cal Championships… Fifth-place finish in hammer throw
helped Tritons to victory during San Diego City Championships… Fourth in hammer
throw with distance of 133’10 during Cal Poly Pomona/Cal State Dominguez
Hills/San Diego State/UCSD quad meet.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2008 graduate of La Sierra High School in Riverside, Calif... As captain led team to four straight Ivy League Championships 2005-2008... Placed 27th in the CIF Southern Section Discus finals... Recorded personal bests of 139’11” in discus and 43'6 " in the shot put.
PERSONAL: Born on May 21, 1990... Parents are Ben and Julie Douangchak... Has one older brother named Mark... Majoring in Computer Science at Sixth College... In his spare time he enjoys listening to music and playing video games... Pursuing a career in video game programming.
