HIGH SCHOOL: A 2007 graduate of Bishop Alemary in Mission Hills, Calif... ran track and cross country under coach Eric Neumann... team recorded O’Melriny Park fastest team time... named to All-League team in 2005-06... selected as team MVP during junior and senior years... nominated for CIF Athlete of the Year... recorded statistical bests of 16:30 in the 5k, 4:29 in the 1600, and 9:50 in the 3200.
PERSONAL: Born April 19, 1988... parents are Kevin and Julie Spears... has an older sister named Kayla... hopes to become an orthodontist... an undeclared sciences major in Sixth College... enjoys skim boarding and movies in his spare time... also a member of the UCSD cross country team.
