AS A JUNIOR IN 2007: Season-best distance of 147’1” in the hammer throw earned 2nd place finish in the event at the San Diego City Championships... finished 9th in the event at the All-Cal Championships with a distance of 146’9”... recorded another 9th place finish in the hammer throw with a distance of 140’10” at the UCSD Divisional Challenge... completed the hammer throw at the CCAA Championships with a distance of 143’2” that secured a 6th place finish in the event.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2006: Achieved career-best hammer throw performance at the CCAA Championships with a distance of 148’7”, the second-best mark among Tritons during the season.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2005: Recorded the best hammer throw of the season for UCSD with a distance of 131’9” during the UCSD Collegiate Open.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2005 graduate of Oak Park High School in Oak Park, Calif... statistical best of 128’ in the discus throw during junior year of high school... helped team to Tri-Valley League Championships in 2003 and 2004.

PERSONAL: Born August 3, 1986... parent are Jimmy and Kelly Tedjasaputra... has three younger siblings named James, Shawn, and Nicole... grandparents Chayana and Karitka Tedjasaputra were both members of Chinese World Basketball teams, with grandmother Karitka having won a gold medal with the women’s team... is a Human Biology major at Sixth College... enjoys cooking, tennis, and badminton in his spare time.
