AS A FRESHMAN IN 2006: Was also member of the UCSD women’s cross country team... ran in one race during rookie season on the La Jolla campus... posted a time of 16:45.6 in the first race of the season on the 2.5 mile par course at UCSD.

 

HIGH SCHOOL: Comes to UCSD from nearby Patrick Henry High School... team was three-time Eastern League Champions... had personal bests of 2:19 in the 800m and 5:21 in the 1600m.

 

PERSONAL: Born April 21, 1987... parents are Michael and Shelly Buono.
