AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2008: Placed 34th in the 1500M at the UCSD Triton Invitational with a time of 5:07.04... At the San Diego City Championships placed fifth in the 3000M with a time of 10:40.76... Placed 15th in the 1500M at the All-Cal Challenge Cup.

 HIGH SCHOOL: A 2006 graduate of nearby Torrey Pines High School... ran track and cross country in high school under coach Brent Thorne... member of CIF/State Finalist team... named to All-CIF and All-League first team... recorded statistical bests of 5:20 in the mile, 19:59 in the 5k, and 11:59 in the two mile run... also a member of the UCSD cross country team.

PERSONAL: Born December 5, 1987 in Latrobe, Penn... parents are Phillip and Kathy Andrews... has two older siblings named June and Larry and one younger sibling named Ben... career goal is to become a Psychiatrist... a Biochemistry and Cell Biology major in John Muir College... enjoys reading and drawing in spare time.
