AS A JUNIOR IN 2007: Won the 110 hurdles event during the All-Cal Championships with a time of 15.25 seconds... recorded another first-place finish in the 110 hurdles event at the San Diego City Championships with a time of 14.96, while also finished 4th in the high jump at the San Diego City Championships with height 6’2.75”... time of 14.94 in the 110 was nearly one second ahead of second-place finisher during the UCSD Divisional Challenge... recorded the fastest preliminary time in the 110 hurdles at the CCAA Championships with time of 14.76, finishing 3rd in the event with a final time of 15.30... finished 8th in the high jump at the CCAA Championships with height of 5’11.25”... career-best time of 14.76 in the 110 hurdles ranks 5th in UCSD history.
PRIOR TO ATTENDING UCSD: Spent two years at City College of San Francisco before transferring to UCSD... competed in track and field under coach Doug Owyang... was ranked as high as 3rd in the state... made the state meet in the decathlon and the 110 high hurdles... personal bests of 14.85 in the 110 hurdles and 6’6.5” in the high jump... helped team to one Conference Championship, two Nor Cal Championships, and two State Championships.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 1997 graduate of Brookline High School in Brookline, Massachusetts... competed in track and field as well as football while in high school.
