AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2011: With a time of 11:52.42, completed the 300m steeplechase at the All-Cal Challenge ... Posted a time of 5:10.84 in the 1500 at the San Diego Collegiate Challenge, giving her a final spot at 19th place.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2010: Finished eighth in the 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 12:04.07 at the CCAA Championships... Also posted a third and fifth place finish in the same event during the Mangrum Invitational and Triton Invitational, respectively... Finished just outside the top 20 in the 1500 at the San Diego Collegiate Championships.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2009 graduate of Westview High School in San Diego, Calif… Part of undefeated 2008 Valley League Champion cross country team, which placed second at CIF and 15th at state… Earned the Sportsmanship Award in 2007 and the Leadership and MVP Awards in 2008 for cross country… 2007 Scholar Athlete… Personal best of 19:41 on the state course for cross country in Fresno.

PERSONAL: Born August 25, 1991… Parents are Christopher and Nancy Kane… Has one older sibling named Dillon and two younger siblings, Eneas and Christopher… A Biochemistry and Cell Biology major in Marshall College… Favorite movie is He’s Just Not That Into You… Aspires to work at a pharmaceutical company.
