AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2010: Top five finisher in the hammer throw and discus during the San Diego Collegiate Championships with marks of 133'1" and 112'4", respectively... Posted a 141'8" mark in the hammer throw and a toss of 119'9" in the discus for top 30 finishes at the Triton Invitational.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2009: At the CCAA Championships, distance
of 118’11” in hammer throw earned 14th-place finish… Seventh at
All-Cal Championships in hammer throw with distance of 124’2”… Top ten finishes
in hammer throw and discus during San Diego City Championships.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2007 graduate of Vanden High School in Fairfield, CA.... Led team to Central Valley Conference League Championship 2004-2006... Placed first at 2006 League Championship in discus.... Won the discus at the 2007 Solano County Athletic Conference Championships... Has recorded personal bests of 114’6” in the discus and 27’ in the shot put.
PERSONAL: Born on July 9, 1989... Parents are Jon and Thea Spence... Has one older sibling named Danielle...Majoring in Mechanical Engineering at WarrenCollege... Hobbies include throwing the discus and hammer, also being part of UCSD Catholic Community.
