AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2012
Raced in the women's 800-meter run at the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Track & Field Championships for UC San Diego, placing third in her heat and 10th overall while clocking in at a season-best time of 2 minutes, 23.86 seconds ... Began the season running the second leg of her team in the 4x400 relay event during the meet against Cal Poly Pomona and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, in which her team placed fifth overall and turned in a season-best time of 4:19.84 ... Earned a personal best in the 1,500 at the All-Cal Challenge, where she finished the event in 4:54.92 to take fourth in her heat and 13th overall.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2011
Posted a time of 4:57.61 in the 1,500 at the All-Cal Challenge, which was good enough for a 14th-place finish ... Finished 15th in the 1,500 during the Cal-Nevada Championships with a time of 4:59.43 ... Took the fourth-place spot in the 800 at the Soka Peace Invitational with a time of 2:22.49 ... Competed in the 1,500 event at the CCAA Championships, posting a time of 5:04.20.
HIGH SCHOOL
A 2010 graduate of Great Oak High School in Temecula ... Was voted second team all-league as a junior in 2009 ... Named "Sophomore Girl of the Year" and "Middle Distance Runner of the Year" (2008) ... Awarded "Freshman Girl of the Year" (2007) ... Her Great Oak teams made the League Finals in all of her four years in addition to the CIF Preliminaries and Finals ... Two of those seasons, the Wolfpack advanced to State Finals ... The Kooks and Florence + the Machine are groups on her playlist ... Favorite movie is "Hot Rod" ... Getting on the line with her teammates is both her most memorable sport and UCSD moment ... Hobbies include going to church, reading, going to the beach and hanging out with friends ... Would eat steak and potatoes for the rest of her life if given the chance ...
