Biography
AS A JUNIOR IN 2010: Finished just outside the top 10 in the 1500 with a time of 5:27.92 during the Tritons' season opener.
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2009: Helped UCSD women to victory at the
All-Cal Championships with a time of 10:48.63 and 10th place finish
in the 3000… Placed ninth in 3000 at the San Diego City Championships, where
UCSD again finished first overall.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2008: Placed eighth in the 3000M at the UCSD Triton Invitational with a time of 10:47.50... At the San Diego City Championships finished 13th in the 1500M... Placed 37th in the 400M at the Beach Invitational with a time of 4:55.06... 3000M Champion at the UCSD Divisional Challenge with a time of 10:31.43.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2007 graduate of nearby Torrey Pines High School... participated in cross country and track under coach Brent Thorne... helped team to 4th place finish at state meet in 2005 and 2nd place finish in 2006... awards include Track Athlete of the Year, Most Improved, Most Dedicated, Coach’s Award, Union Tribune Scholar Athlete, Torrey Pines Scholar Athlete, and All-Academic first team... recorded statistical bests of 5:21 in the 1600 and 11:31 in the 3200... member of the NHS... also a member of the UCSD cross country team.
PERSONAL: Born May 2, 1989... parents are Larry and Lynn Monica Bodenhamer... career goals include becoming a teacher or professor... an English Literature major in Warren College... enjoys swimming, going to the beach, and reading in free time.
